EGRWSE-2025

6th International Conference on
Environmental Geotechnology, Recycled Waste Materials and Sustainable Engineering

Environmental Geotechnology, Recycled Waste Materials, and Sustainable Engineering (EGRWSE) is a prestigious conference series that has been held since 2018 at leading research institutions worldwide. Past venues include NIT Jalandhar, India (2018, 2023); UIC, Chicago, USA (2019); Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey (2022); and Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland (2024).

These conferences have successfully showcased pioneering research in environmental geotechnics, sustainable engineering, and the use of recycled materials in infrastructure. They have also highlighted modern technologies for sustainable development in construction, renewable energy, and environmental engineering. Recognizing the critical role of sustainability in engineering, the UNESCO Engineering Initiative (UEI) collaborates with partners to integrate sustainability into engineering curricula. The upcoming EGRWSE-2025 will be the 6th edition, addressing current global challenges related to climate change and focusing on sustainable engineering practices aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The conference will also explore research on recycled materials in construction, supporting the circular economy.

Conference Themes

We invite you to submit your recent research work to the EGRWSE-2025 Conference. We are interested in a wide range of topics, from theoretical concepts to practical applications, including case studies, works-in-progress, and conceptual explorations.

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit original technical papers by the specified deadline for inclusion in the EGRWSE-2025 Conference Proceedings and for presentation in the symposia. Please note that deadlines will be strictly enforced, and late submissions will not be accepted. The conference welcomes papers on the following (but not limited to) research topics:

  • Solid Waste and Circular Economy
  • Geoenvironmental Pollution Control
  • Sustainable Geo-Infrastructure
  • Geotechnics for Renewable Energy
  • Environmental Geotechnics for Climate Change
  • Sustainable and Resilient Practices
  • Biotechnologies/Nature-Based Solutions
  • Education/Teaching
