Getting to Vigo
Vigo, a vibrant and welcoming city on the northwest coast of Spain, offers several transportation options for participants attending the conference.
The city of Vigo is very well connected, both by air, train and bus. To make your trip to the conference easier, we offer you several options:
Plane:
- Vigo Airport (VGO): The most direct way to get to Vigo is to fly to Vigo Airport. From here, you can take a taxi or a city bus to reach the city center or your accommodation. Vigo Airport has direct connections with Barcelona (BCN) and Madrid (MAD).
- Oporto Airport (OPO): This is an alternative airport very well connected to the city of Vigo. There are several bus companies that offer regular services between Oporto Airport and Vigo city center. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.
Train:
- From Madrid, there are high-speed trains (AVE) and Alvia trains that connect directly to Vigo. Traveling by train is an excellent option if you are looking for comfort and want to enjoy the scenery.
